Skin Ageing & Challenges 2023 Best Poster Presentations Award #1

The Skin Challenges team extends warm congratulations to Phetthinee Muanjumpon from Mahidol University, Thailand for securing the distinguished Best Poster Presentation at the Skin Ageing & Challenges 2023 for her poster: “Protective Effects of Sulforaphane Against UVA-Induced Photoaging In Mouse Skin via Downregulation of Mmp-1”

Muanjumpon’s insightful poster sheds light on the potential of sulforaphane as an anti-photoaging candidate, marking a significant stride in skincare research.

Additionally, heartfelt gratitude is extended to Dr. Uraiwan Panich, an active member of the Skin Ageing & Challenges Scientific Committee. Serving as the corresponding author and instructor, Dr. Panich played a pivotal role in guiding and supporting this award-winning research.

Ms. Muanjumpon stated: “We investigate the effect of sulforaphane, the Nrf2 activator, on UVA-induced photoaging human dermal fibroblasts in vitro and mouse skin in vivo models. We plan to explore the crosstalk between Nrf2 and collagen synthesis pathway to further develop Nrf2 activators as promising anti-photoaging agents.”

The collaborative efforts between Muanjumpon and Dr. Panich exemplify the spirit of excellence that defines the Skin Ageing & Challenges conference.
