The Scientific Committee is pleased to inform you that Prof. Shigefumi Okamoto, from Kanazawa University, Japan will join us during Skin Ageing & Challenges 2019.
Prof. Okamoto will give a talk about the Techniques for Collecting Skin Microbiome Samples.
“Recently, study on skin bacterial flora have become increasingly important. The method of collecting the skin bacterial flora varies, and it is conceivable that the distribution result of the bacterial flora differs depending on each sampling method; however, there are few studies that examined the details. I would like to talk at the conference about the distribution and quality of the skin bacterial flora collected between the swab method and the methods with tape strip made of various materials.”
