Dr. Kazuhiro Ogai, from Kanazawa University, Japan will join the Skin Ageing & Challenges 2021 Congress and will give a presentation entitled “Dysbiosis on the Healed Site of Pressure Injuries: Possible Implication for Pressure Injury Recurrence“.

Dr. Ogai will highlight about pressure injury (PI) which is one of the problems for older people, and its recurrence is also required to be prevented. Here we analyzed the skin microbiome on the healed site after PI occurrence, and found that specific bacteria was related to PI recurrence. We’d like to share the findings of novel link between PI and skin dysbiosis.
