Ms. Helena Falholt Elvebakken, Research Scientist at Lactobio A/S, Denmark will present Lactobio’s latest research on the use of probiotics for topical cosmetic applications at Skin Ageing & Challenges 2023.

Lactobio A/S has built a proprietary microbiome platform that identifies potent lactic acid bacteria against skin issues. They have >1500 new strains from healthy human volunteers and plant samples. L. plantarum LB244R® strain was selected for its superior ability to balance the skin microbiome.

Ms. Elvebakken will elaborate on the two clinical trials that were conducted to investigate the anti-ageing potential of our probiotic ointment with live L. plantarum LB244R® for topical application.

She will present a talk titled: “Clinical trials of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum LB244R®”
